Calling all out of work drivers……………..

We are recruiting for the next round of Growing Talent.

One of the employers who has recruited through Growing Talent since the beginning, specializes in business relocations nationally.

They are looking for Driver/Operations Assistants.  The first part of the role is self-explanatory.  The Ops Assistant is more varied!  You will support the team in dismantleng computer equipment, storage equipment, office furniture, boxes of files – everything connected with the business world.  Loading and unloading the vans efficiently with good customer service skills as you will be liaising with the clients on site as well.

The role calls for shift work with the opportunity of overtime.  You must live locally to Silvertown, be flexible and adaptable.  There are opportunities for progression and training especially as the company is global.

HGV licence is not essential as the company will train you.  However, a full driving licence and the above qualities are.

Remember, for the 12 week duration of Growing Talent, participants retain their benefits and have their travel paid.  Only on completion of this period will you start the permanent contract.  This is why Growing Talent is for people out of work not those looking for a change.
