It’s always employing to know when you’re on the right track!

Presenting at Military Coworking Network’s webinar yesterday to introduce our new programme aimed at partners and adult children of serving military personnel felt a little pressurised.

Yes, even I feel the pressure sometimes! But as I tell everyone I work with – pressure just shows how much we want something. As Will Smith the actor once said “success lies on the other side of fear”.

Whilst I’ve worn and been pre-judged by many labels in my dark and distant past, I have never experienced life as a partner or child of a military family. Whilst I don’t know about the constraints of living on a military base or in a military community, I can empathise with the invisibility many feel.

So logging on to the webinar thoughts for me amplified around:

Was I on the right track?

Would the content of the workshops devised meet their purpose?

At the end of an interactive 45 minute session, I was sure everything planned was spot on. Even more important, from the questions and interaction, I know the collaboration on Military Reboot will evolve still further for future programmes.

Knowing the gap I thought was there, really is there energises me no end. Receiving an email this morning from one of the delegates, Vikki, shows the very real need for Military Reboot. Having just completed her Masters on Applied Positive Psychology within the Military Family setting, her thoughts have inspired me even more!

Roll on January!

A huge thank you to Carolyn and Linzi for their help and support to get knowledge of Military Reboot to their membership.

If you are currently a partner or adult child of a serving Military Family and want to take part, contact me for more details or check out Military Coworking Network – their membership is free.

Applications to this free, empowering week close on 2 January 2023

Thanks Linzi & Carolyn….

An amazing, energised webinar this morning arranged and hosted by Linzi and Carolyn of Military Coworking Network to introduce Military Reboot.

This awesome organisation set-up for and run by partners of serving armed forces personnel to empower them to have independent professional lives alongside their military life.

Military Reboot aligns well with this mission. Collaborating together on a week long journey of workshops including finance, wellbeing, nutrition, communication, assertiveness, and the accredited, global @ Iact_training course. Coupled with robust manuals for onward learning, Military Reboot’s goal is to empower, reveal and release that hidden, sometimes invisible talent all partners have..

Lots of interaction from the audience, especially Lucy and Vikki.

Our inaugural programme commences 16 January 2023.

Deadline for applications is 2.1.2023. If you are a partner of someone serving in our Armed Forces – why not take up this free opportunity?

Time to make the invisible, visible…..

An awesome conversation with Carolyn and Linzi of #MilitaryCoworkingNetwork to plan out a schedule for implementing Military Reboot.

Military Co-Working Network work with serving Armed Forces’ spouses and partners to empower them to follow their own path.

The workshops we will deliver and the accredited I-act Managing and Promoting Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing along with the robust manuals for onward learning, will deliver the tools and knowledge for the veil of invisibility to be removed enabling them to shine as awesome, talented, inspiring individuals themselves.

Full details will soon be seen on the Military Reboot page on this website shortly.

Information session will be held for the Military Co-working Network audience on 28 November 2022 with the launch of the first weeklong Military Reboot taking place 16-20 January 2023.
