These employers seem to choose programmes that have ‘First Aider’ in the title without realising they are unaccredited, don’t assess delegates on knowledge retained the way a traditional physical first aider course does, is unaccredited and reactive – no focus on prevention.
So if you are checking out which training product is right for your business and team, make sure you check the evidence and choose the right one. Otherwise, you could be wasting your money!
